Tenacious Teflon Eco-Fail

Submitted by on Friday, 8 January 20102 Comments

2_mugs80Off to buy a good saute pan, I was in Home Goods today, and while browsing around I was astonished and completely dismayed to see that 95 percent of the cookware had Teflon coating! What are these manufacturers thinking? Teflon, or polyfluoroalkyl chemicals (PFCs), are endocrine disrupters that can cause fertility problems, learning disabilities, cancer, and may even increase your cholesterol. Eco-Fail!
