Salt Caves for Natural Health

salt-cavesIt was with such pleasure today that I opened an email from a friend and colleague, Dorian Yates, with whom I hadn’t talked for 20 years! Her home in Vermont at the time was one of the first really green homes, and even the wood used was sustainably harvested from the land she owned. She has a wonderfully keen eye for detail and research, and it is exciting to learn of her new book series, The Green Earth Guides, on traveling naturally in France, Spain, and more. (I’ll write about the guides another time.)

While browsing around one of her sites, (www.travelingnaturally.blogspot.com), I found a fascinating and informative article that she wrote about salt caves! The photo with this article is an example of the Solenka Salt Cave in Kladno, Czechoslovakia. Read Dorian’s article, here.

She has authored literally thousands of articles and was named “the foremost expert on green living” by Body & Soul magazine (2009).
