Reaching Joy – Meditation

joyoflivingA friend whent to a three-day workshop with Tibetan Buddhist master Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, author of The Joy of Living and other inspiring books, and she came away with two pearls of wisdom from him that she passed on to me, and I want to pass them on to you. I have found them really helpful to weave into my way-too-busy days.

* Look at or envision a crystal ball and imagine the center of it. Stay there in your visualization as long as it takes to enjoy a sip of tea.

* Imagine being at your favorite place in the world. Stay there in your visualization for as long as it takes to enjoy a sip of tea.

Do these short meditations as many times a day as you think of them.
