Raspberry Cappuccino Smoothie

raspberry-smoothieThis is my all time favorite dessert on a hot summer day. Plus, it is a complete crowd pleaser. I’ve adapted the recipe from Smoothies: 50 Recipes for High-Energy Refreshment. I literally cannot sing the praises of this refreshing, satisfying treat enough. I’m in love: and love comes in the form of a raspberry cappuccino smoothie. ::Swoons::

Try it out! I guarantee anyone you serve it to will swoon, as well.

1 cup skim milk
1/3 cup coffee (decaf or caffeinated, depending on your preference)
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
Agave syrup, to taste (I usually use about 1 tbsp)
1 1/2 cups nonfat coffee frozen yogurt
1 cup frozen raspberries

First blend the frozen raspberries, coffee, and milk in the blender. Blend until smooth. Add the frozen yogurt, agave, and cocoa powder. Blend until smooth, and serve! Sprinkle with cocoa powder and fresh raspberries for garnish.
