It is intended to be a reminder of things that are often overlooked but that have the potential to add satisfaction and peace to a human life.

Heron Dance explores the beauty and mystery of the natural world with art and words. Heron Dance began in 1995 as a simple little newsletter with big heart and love for life. Over the years it has evolved into a full color journal published twice a year. In 2003 they added the weekly e-newsletter A Pause for Beauty.

Heron Dance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1995 by Roderick MacIver. It serves through its donation to other nonprofits and direct support of wilderness protection.
