Pause for Beauty – Lovely Newsletter

Submitted by on Monday, 28 September 2009No Comment

pausehummingbirdEach week, Heron Dance sends out an e-newsletter containing a new painting and either a short essay or a poem on the beauty and mystery of the natural world and of life itself. It is intended to be a reminder of things that are often overlooked but that have the potential to add satisfaction and peace to a human life.

Subscribe, and see how when you receive the email you find that you do just this: you pause, you pause for beauty. It most surely makes you want to get up from the computer.

Heron Dance explores the beauty and mystery of the natural world with art and words. Heron Dance began in 1995 as a simple little newsletter with big heart and love for life. Over the years it has evolved into a full color journal published twice a year. In 2003 they added the weekly e-newsletter A Pause for Beauty.

Heron Dance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1995 by Roderick MacIver. It serves through its donation to other nonprofits and direct support of wilderness protection.
