GardenSpray your lawn to get your potato chip and bagel fix?

It is no surprise that lawn herbicides are really bad for our hormones and are massive synthetic endocrine disruptors (besides being linked to Parkinson’s Disease, leukemia, and more), but new research highlights another way that they are bad for us. A new study by the Journal of Medical Chemistry reports that being exposed to phenoxy herbicides like 2,4-D, makes your body think it is on a high carbohydrate diet! The pancreas’s reaction to the herbicide makes your body think it just had a very high carbohydrate meal and keeps producing more insulin, lowering your blood sugar so that you eat more to balance the lowering blood sugar. The vicious cycle ends up with a high risk of Type 2 Diabetes.

Read more about this syndrome and forever cement in your mind that organic lawn care is the way to go! >>>>>
