Technology creates a lot of environmental problems, but sometimes technology can help solve them, too. Pollution (http://www.amobilefuture.com/en/products/pollution/) is an iPhone app that synchs your GPS position with up-to-date environmental data. You get a customized map of local pollution sources and environmental hazards. The project started in France, but is expanding coverage into other parts of Europe and the US. Eco-win for raising awareness and helping us stay one step ahead of danger!
