There is about one week in Rhinebeck, NY, where I live, when the green of the budding leaves is a bright and vibrant light green, what I call heart chakra green. The healing energy of the color during this time is palpable, a color to soak up as much as possible because the green darkens quickly and in a few days is gone until next year. We are in the midst of this special week I describe right now (two weeks early this year), and I wanted to share the experience of the green with you. Today I took some pictures of some budding trees by my driveway, to try to show you the color. See what you think.
