Submitted by on Saturday, 19 September 2009No Comment

rosh-ha-006Have a sweet new year! A friend gave this basket to me brimming with her own organic apples and honey. I was so touched. Not being Jewish, I needed an explanation about the symbolism for Rosh Hashanah, and was told about the tradition of dipping apples in honey and wishing for a sweet new year.
