Great Blue Heron Visits

Submitted by on Saturday, 18 July 2009One Comment

Whenever I see a great blue heron I tend to feel as if I am given a gift of good luck, of some sort of a blessing. I’ve read about the symbolism of this bird, but for my purpose here I just want to say that when I see such a magnificent bird, I feel a touch of something otherworldly, a reminder that life is so much more than the repetitive everyday activities. Seeing one makes me want to pause and open myself to insight and intuition.
