BPA in the Trash Vortex – Eco-Fail

The trash vortex in the Pacific ocean is bad enough without imagining all the endocrine disrupting chemicals from the plastics, such as bisphenol A (BPA) and phthlates! I don’t know why Nicholas Krostof’s Op Ed “Chemicals in our Food and Bodies” in the New York Times made me think of the BPA leaching out of that vortex, but it did. Imagine what all the toxics must be doing to the whales and fish. Eco-Fail!
