blueberrysmoothieBlueberries and blackberries are rich in proanthocyanidins, antioxidants that can help prevent cancer and heart disease. What could be better than to combine them both in a smoothie? Here is Jenny C.’s smoothie submission for The Great Earth Day Smoothie Contest!

Blueberry, Blackberry Bounty – Smoothie
Ingredients
1 cup low-fat yogurt
1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
1 cup fresh or frozen blackberries
1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine ingredients in a blender and blend!
