whole and half avocado isolated on whiteSun and wind can be hard on the skin, so here is a great remedy to repair cell damage. While avocado oil is especially healing for older skin, it is beneficial for anyone who has been out in the elements this summer, whether at the beach or on a mountain trail. Aloe vera gel is healing for the skin, period, and if you have been badly burned in the sun, it is a perfect solution for rejuvenation and soothing relief.

1/4 cup avocado oil
1/4 cup aloe vera gel

Using a glass jar (marinated artichoke heart jars are perfect), combine the ingredients, cover, and shake to blend. Saturate a small section of a soft cloth and massage into face. Rinse.

Shake to blend.

Lasts for four months or so if refrigerated.
