Antioxidant Smoothie – Earth Day Smoothie Contest

berrysmoothieHere is a healthy smoothie for The Great Earth Day Smoothie Contest! We love this as a late afternoon pick-me-up or as a “dessert” after dinner. The key to this is that it is easy and generic. The result is healthy, but you can use what you have and don’t have to rush to the store to find an obscure ingredient. Just keep your freezer stocked with frozen berries and fruit.

Antioxidant Smoothie
3 cups of berries or fruit (mixed, fresh, frozen, whatever you want or have around, but the more variety the better)
1 cup liquid (use whatever you have or like: yogurt, milk, nut milk, soy milk, fruit juices, frozen yogurt)

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend. Add a few ice cubes if desired.

Serves 2

    This smoothie recipe is very yummy, I think I love to serve this to my cute nieces. The ingredients such berries gives a natural anti-oxidant and very good to heart and very healthy, this is recommendable.
