A Green Auto Dish Detergent that Works! - Annie’s Advice
Happiness. For a few years now I have said that there is a green product that works for just about everything you could want, except there doesn’t seem to be a green dishwasher detergent that works as well as commercial brands, all of which are made with eco-UNfriendly phosphates. Especially if you have hard water, you will know what I am talking about. I’ve valiantly tried all of the “green” dishwasher detergents and after a few washes needed to go out and buy a perfumed commercial brand loaded with phosphates to get the dishes clean again, or make the choice to wash my dishes by hand.
Enter Oxy-Dish! Eureka! I have hard water, and Ox-Dish cleaned my dishes better than the commercial brand I’ve come to rely on now and then so I don’t have to wash my dishes by hand.
Truly, I am amazed and happy.
Oxy-Dish contains sodium citrate, sodium carbonate, sodium percarbonate, surfactants, rinse agents, and silicate. It is ultra-concentrated, has no stronger signal word on the label than a Caution, and no chlorine, phosphates, filler, or fragrance.
I’ve become a fan of sodium percarbonate’s whitening action, and I have to add that using Oxy-Dish whitened the inside of the dishwasher as an added bonus.
